Brow Lift Boston
Brow Lift is a surgery that involves raising the eyebrows. Some patients have low brows and others develop low brows as they become older. Most commonly the outside half of the brows can be low giving a flat brow appearance. A lateral brow lift is a brow lift that addresses just the outside half of the brows giving the brows a more youthful arched shape.
A brow lift typically takes 1-3 hours to perform under a sedation anesthesia.
This procedure is performed by making incisions either at the hairline or more commonly, behind the hairline so that it is well hidden. This area is then tightened resulting in a higher brow. Dr. Lee will give his recommendations on if you are a good candidate for a full brow lift or a lateral brow lift during your consultation.
A good candidate for a brow lift is a patient who has a low brow or a flat brow. Lifting a low brow can rejuvenate and give a brighter appearance to the eyes.
Recovery after a brow lift is usually a few days. Pain is minimal compared to other surgeries that Dr. Lee offers. Patients often go back to work or school after a few days.
